Use shipping carrier apps with LaunchMyStore
Carrier integration apps let you buy real shipping labels from FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, Australia Post, Royal Mail and 80+ others directly from the admin. LaunchMyStore supports several carrier aggregators — Shippo, EasyPost, Sendcloud, and regional alternatives — each installable from the app marketplace.
Install a carrier app
- Open Apps → Marketplace.
- Search for the carrier app you want (Shippo, EasyPost, Sendcloud, etc.).
- Click Install and approve the permissions.
Connect your carrier account
After install, open the app and:
- Sign in to your existing carrier-aggregator account (or create one from the link provided).
- Generate an API token from the carrier dashboard — usually under Settings → API or Developers → Tokens.
- Paste the token into the app's settings inside the admin.
- Enter your pickup / warehouse address. If you have multiple warehouses, choose which one ships which orders.
- Click Save.
Buy a label and ship an order
- Open an order from the Orders list and click Ship.
- Choose the carrier app as the fulfilment method.
- Enter the package weight and dimensions (or pick a saved package preset).
- Select the courier service from the rates returned.
- Pay for the label — the cost is deducted from your carrier-aggregator balance or charged to the card on file.
- Print the label, attach it to the box, and the tracking number is written back to the order automatically.
Live rates at checkout
Most carrier apps can also feed live shipping rates into checkout, so buyers see real carrier prices instead of flat zone rates. Enable this in the app's settings under Live rates at checkout.
Tracking and notifications
Once a label is bought the carrier's tracking number flows back to the order. The customer's shipment confirmation email includes a tracking link, and tracking status updates (in transit, out for delivery, delivered) are pulled automatically.
FAQ
Which carrier do I pick?
Each carrier aggregator covers a different mix of regional couriers. Shippo and EasyPost are strongest in the US; Sendcloud and DPD apps work best in Europe; check the app description for a coverage map before installing.
Do I pay LaunchMyStore for labels?
No. Label fees are charged by the carrier aggregator (Shippo, EasyPost, etc.) at the rates they negotiate with the couriers. LaunchMyStore does not add a margin on labels.
Can I print multiple labels at once?
Yes — select several orders on the Orders list and use the Buy labels bulk action. The app generates one combined PDF you can print on any label or A4 printer.
Do tracking emails go out automatically?
Yes — as soon as the label is purchased, the tracking number is attached to the order and the shipment notification email is sent using your store's email template.
Can I use my own carrier account instead of the aggregator's rates?
Yes — most aggregator apps let you connect your own carrier credentials (UPS account, FedEx account, etc.) so the discounted rates you negotiated apply.
