Delete your LaunchMyStore account
You can permanently delete your LaunchMyStore account at any time. Before you do, please be aware that this action is irreversible and removes every storefront, order, customer, and product associated with your account.
If something is not working as expected we would love a chance to help first. Email [email protected] and a teammate will look into it.
What gets deleted
- All stores under the account, including custom domains.
- Product catalog, collections, blogs, pages, and themes.
- Order history, customers, addresses, and wallet credit balances.
- Installed apps and their configuration.
- Staff accounts and POS data.
You will not be able to restore any of this once the account is deleted.
How to delete the account
- Sign in to your admin.
- Click your profile menu in the top right and choose Account.
- Open Edit business details.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Delete my account.
- Confirm by entering your password.
Before you delete — checklist
- Export any orders, customers, or product data you want to keep. Export buttons live on each list page (Orders, Customers, Products).
- Cancel any active app subscriptions to avoid further billing.
- Settle any pending payouts from your connected payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.).
- Disconnect the custom domain at your registrar so you can reuse it elsewhere.
FAQ
Can I deactivate temporarily instead of deleting?
Yes — cancel your paid plan and the store will downgrade to the free tier. Your data stays intact and you can resume any time without losing orders or settings.
Will I be refunded for unused subscription time?
Refund eligibility depends on your current plan and how long ago it was billed. Contact [email protected] with your invoice and we will review it.
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Deletion is permanent and data is purged from our systems within 30 days. Be sure to export anything you might need before proceeding.
Does deleting affect customers' open orders?
Yes — pending orders will be cancelled and any captured funds refunded according to your payment gateway's rules. Make sure all open orders are fulfilled or cancelled before deleting.
