Is there a desktop application for LaunchMyStore?
LaunchMyStore is a web-based platform that runs in any modern browser, so there is no separate desktop install. Your admin, theme customizer, and storefront all work in Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox on Windows, macOS, and Linux. There are also iOS and Android mobile apps for managing your store on the go.
Sign in from your computer
Open your browser and go to launchmystore.io.
Click Sign in.
Enter your email and password, or sign in with Google.
You will land on your admin dashboard with full access to products, orders, customers, themes, apps, and settings.
Pin the admin like a desktop app
Most browsers let you "install" a web app so it shows up in your dock or Start menu and runs in its own window without browser chrome.
Chrome / Edge: open your admin, then click the three-dot menu > Install LaunchMyStore (or "Save as app").
Safari (macOS): click File > Add to Dock while on the admin URL.
This gives you the look and feel of a native app while staying on the latest version of the platform.
Mobile apps
For on-the-go management, install the LaunchMyStore mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The mobile app focuses on day-to-day tasks: order notifications, accepting orders, fulfilling, viewing analytics, and POS.
FAQ
Why no native desktop app?
A web-based admin means you get instant updates, no installs, and the same experience on any computer or operating system. We can ship improvements daily without asking you to update anything.
Will the admin work offline?
No. The admin needs a live connection to load your latest orders, inventory, and analytics. The mobile POS does have an offline mode for in-person sales when the network drops.
Which browser works best?
Any recent version of Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox. We do not support Internet Explorer.
Can I keep multiple stores open in different tabs?
Yes. Each store has its own URL, so you can keep multiple admins open in browser tabs (or in separate browser profiles if you want isolated sessions).
Does the storefront need a browser too?
Yes — your storefront is a public website, so any browser on any device can view it. The storefront is responsive and optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
