Can I sell services on LaunchMyStore?
Yes. LaunchMyStore is built to sell anything — physical products, digital downloads, subscriptions, and services. Coaches, consultants, photographers, designers, repair shops, salons, tutors, and any other service business can run their booking and payment flow on LaunchMyStore.
How service selling works
When you add a product, choose the Service product type (or use the Digital > Service fulfillment mode). This tells the platform:
The item does not need a shipping address at checkout
It does not need tracking, inventory, or weight (unless you want them)
The order is considered fulfilled as soon as you deliver the service
Common service-sale patterns
Consultations and coaching
Sell a one-hour or one-day consultation. Use checkout custom fields for the buyer's goals, preferred timezone, and a calendar link. After payment, send the booking confirmation through your usual scheduling tool (Calendly, SavvyCal, Cal.com).
Bookings with a date and time
Add date picker and time picker custom fields to your checkout. Customers pick when they want the service and you see it on the order. Pair with a booking-management app for slot inventory.
Recurring services (memberships)
Use a selling plan to charge monthly or annually. Great for gyms, classes, group coaching, ongoing maintenance contracts, or any subscription service.
Repair and on-site services
Use checkout custom fields to collect the site address, equipment details, and preferred slot. Use the date picker for scheduled visits.
Custom or quoted work
Use draft orders to send custom quotes. Build a draft with the line items, send the payment link, and the order finalizes when the client pays.
Upload deliverables to your customer
If your service includes deliverable files (design assets, edited photos, reports), use the order detail page to attach files or use the digital-product fulfillment to send a private download URL.
Refunds and cancellations

Can I sell services and products together?
Yes. Mix them freely in the same catalog. Carts containing only services skip the shipping step at checkout; mixed carts still collect a shipping address for the physical items.
How do I take a deposit instead of full payment?
List the deposit amount as the product price, and collect the balance later via a draft order or an invoice. You can also use a tipping or upgrade flow on the post-purchase page.
Can I integrate with a calendar / scheduling tool?
Yes. Use the order-paid webhook to push the order into Calendly, Acuity, Cal.com, or your own scheduling system. Several App Store apps automate this for popular tools.
Do I need shipping zones if I only sell services?
No. You can disable shipping under Settings > Checkout by hiding shipping fields, and remove shipping zones entirely.
What about taxes on services?
Service tax rules vary by country, US state, and EU member state. Configure your tax behavior in Settings > Taxes & duties, and consider an automated tax service (Avalara, TaxJar) if you operate in multiple regions.
