No. Customers do not need to download any app or extension to shop on your LaunchMyStore. Your storefront works in any browser on any device — desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone — using a standard URL like yourstore.com or yourstore.launchmystore.io.

They land on your store URL (from search, ads, social, or a link you shared).
They browse, add to cart, and check out — all in the browser.
They pay with their preferred method (card, PayPal, Razorpay, UPI, COD, or local wallet) and place the order.
They receive an order confirmation by email and (optionally) SMS or WhatsApp.
They can return at any time, sign in to track orders, save addresses, or re-order.

Does my customer need to sign up to buy?
No. Guest checkout is enabled by default. Customers can choose to create an account for faster repeat checkout, but it is not required.
Will my store work on slow connections?
Yes. The storefront is built for speed: server-side rendered, cached, and optimized for low bandwidth. We support image lazy-loading and modern formats (WebP, AVIF) automatically.
Can my store work offline?
Browsing previously-viewed pages may work offline thanks to PWA caching, but checkout requires a live connection to take payment.
Do I need to build a separate mobile site?
No. Every LaunchMyStore theme is responsive and adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop. You can also tweak mobile-specific settings (sticky cart, mobile menu) in the theme customizer.
How do I help my customers add the store to their home screen?
Tell them to open your store in Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android), tap the share or menu button, and pick Add to Home Screen. The icon will use your store logo, and tapping it launches your storefront full-screen.
