Earning points
A bill earns points only when a customer is on the sale. Points are worked out on the final amount (after points used, tax and round-off) and given in whole points. The cart shows how many the bill earns.
Using points
- Add the customer to the sale. The cart shows their points balance.
- Click Use points. The register applies as many as the rules allow and shows a Points used line.
- Click Don't use points to take them off again.
Points are taken off before tax. The customer's balance is the points they have earned minus the points they have used, across their orders in your store. Loyalty points need an internet connection.
