The register's reports show how the counter did for any period: sales, payment modes, best-selling items, each cashier's numbers, tax by rate, busy hours, pay-later collections, the cash drawer and voids.

Before you start

  • Reports are part of the Day-end reports feature — on by default in Quick billing. In Standard, switch it on under More > Register style. See POS register styles: Standard and Quick billing.
  • You need the View staff activity permission.

Open a report

  1. On the register, go to More > Reports.
  2. Choose a Period: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, This month, Last month or Custom (up to 93 days).
  3. Read the summary, then open a section.

What's in the reports

The summary shows net sales (with gross, charges and after refunds), orders, average bill, discounts, tax, refunds, voids, round-off and pay-later sales. Points given and used, online orders and ingredients used appear when you have any.

  • Payment modes — cash, UPI, card (terminal), card (manual), pay later, bank transfer and other. A split bill counts once for each method used.
  • Items — search, and sort by amount or quantity.
  • Categories.
  • Staff — orders, net sales, average bill, discounts, refunds and voids for each person.
  • Tax (GST) — taxable value and tax by rate, with CGST, SGST and IGST.
  • Hourly (with your busiest hour) and Daily.
  • Pay later collected.
  • Cash drawer — cash sales, paid in, cash refunds, paid out and drops across all registers.
  • Voids — the latest cancelled sales.

What's counted

  • Register sales and Zomato and Swiggy orders. Orders from your online store are not included.
  • Cancelled sales are counted as voids.
  • A refund is counted in the period of the original sale, not the day it was refunded.

Export or print

  • Export CSV downloads the section you have open.
  • Print prints the summary and the open section. Allow pop-ups for the admin if nothing opens.

GSTR-1 (India)

Stores issuing GST invoices also have a GSTR-1 export at the bottom of Reports. See GST invoices on the POS (India): HSN, e-invoice, e-way bill and GSTR-1.
