Displaying Your Store Name on the Storefront
Your store name appears in the browser tab, the header (next to or instead of your logo), in transactional emails, in search engine results, and in SEO metadata. LaunchMyStore lets you set it once and have it propagated everywhere.
Setting your store name
- From the admin sidebar, open Settings → Store details.
- Edit the Store name field at the top of the form.
- Click Save.
The change is applied across the storefront within seconds — theme caches refresh automatically.
Showing the name next to your logo
By default most themes show only your logo in the header. To show the store name alongside (or instead):
- Go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize.
- Click the Header section in the sidebar.
- Toggle Show store name. If you want the name only, remove the logo image from the same panel.
- Click Publish.
Where else the store name shows up
- Browser tab title — e.g. Home — Your Store Name.
- SEO metadata — default page title suffix and Open Graph site name.
- Email templates — order confirmation, shipping, password reset.
- Receipts and invoices.
- Customer account portal.
For each of those surfaces you can override the default phrasing in the relevant settings page, but if you simply update the store name, everything updates automatically.
FAQ
Do I need to update the store name in more than one place?
No. Settings → Store details is the source of truth. The theme, emails, and SEO all read from it.
Will a store rename change my URL?
No. Your subdomain (e.g. yourstore.launchmystore.io) and any custom domain are set separately under Settings → Domains.
Can I show a different name on the storefront vs in emails?
Use the store name for emails and metadata, and use the header section in the theme to show a different visual name — e.g. an image logo or a custom heading block.
Does changing the store name affect SEO?
Search engines reindex over a few days. The change is automatic; no manual resubmission needed.
Why don't I see my store name in the header even after toggling it?
Republish the theme after saving the header setting, then hard-refresh the storefront. If the logo image is also set, some themes show the logo only by design — remove the logo image to show just the name.
