Why isn't my LaunchMyStore appearing on Google?
Getting your store to show up on Google takes more than just being online — search engines need time to discover, crawl, and rank your pages. If you've just launched and can't find your store on Google, that's normal. Below is what's happening behind the scenes and the concrete steps you can take to speed things up.
The most common reasons your store isn't ranking yet
1. Your store was launched recently
Google indexes new sites in waves. A brand-new store often takes 1–6 weeks to start appearing in search results, and longer to rank well for competitive queries. This is normal and unrelated to LaunchMyStore.
2. Your store hasn't been submitted to Google
Google can find your store by following links to it, but the fastest way to get indexed is to submit your sitemap directly. Every LaunchMyStore is auto-served at yourstore.com/sitemap.xml. Add your site to Google Search Console and submit the sitemap from there.
3. You haven't set unique titles and meta descriptions
Default product, page, and collection titles work, but customized titles and meta descriptions help Google understand and display your pages. Edit them per product, collection, and page in your admin (look for the Search engine listing section on each edit page).
4. The page is marked noindex
Trial / staging stores are intentionally hidden from search engines. Once you connect a custom domain and upgrade to a paid plan, the noindex tag is removed. Verify by viewing the source of your page and searching for noindex.
5. Thin or duplicate content
Stores that use only stock product descriptions or copy from suppliers tend to rank poorly. Rewrite copy in your own voice, add unique product images, and publish blog content that answers questions your customers ask.
6. No backlinks yet
Google ranks pages partly by how many other sites link to them. Share your store on social media, get listed in niche directories, and reach out for press or partner mentions to start building authority.

FAQ
How long does it take to rank on Google?
Indexing typically happens within a few days. Ranking on the first page for competitive keywords usually takes months of consistent content and link-building work.
Where is my sitemap?
LaunchMyStore generates and serves your sitemap at yourstore.com/sitemap.xml. It updates automatically as you add or remove products, collections, and pages.
Do trial stores get indexed?
No. Trial / test stores include a noindex directive so they don't show in search results. Upgrade and connect a custom domain to remove it.
How do I add Google Search Console?
Sign in to Search Console, add your domain as a property, and follow the DNS-based or HTML-file verification flow. Once verified, paste your sitemap URL and submit.
Will paid ads help?
Yes. Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns can drive immediate traffic while you wait for organic rankings to grow. Connect your product feed to Google Merchant Center first — see the Product feed article in this Help Center.
