Newsletter subscribers: collect, manage, and export

An email list is one of the few marketing channels you fully own. LaunchMyStore collects newsletter sign-ups from your storefront, stores them in your admin, and lets you export the list as a CSV any time you want to push it into a marketing tool.

Collecting sign-ups on your storefront

Most themes include a newsletter form — typically in the footer. When a visitor enters their email and submits, the address is saved to your subscriber list along with the country it was collected from and the date.

If your theme doesn't include a sign-up form by default, you can edit the theme to add one anywhere a section or block accepts a newsletter form.

Viewing and managing subscribers

Your subscriber list lives in your admin under the Newsletters section. For each subscriber you can see:

  • Email — the address that was submitted.
  • Country — captured at the time of sign-up.
  • Date created — when they subscribed.

You can search the list, paginate through it, and remove a subscriber individually if they ask to be taken off the list. You can also add a subscriber manually — handy if someone signed up through another channel and you want to consolidate.

Exporting the list

Use the Export Newsletter button on the Newsletters page to download your subscribers as a file. This is the cleanest way to move the list into an email-marketing tool such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or any service that accepts a CSV import. Most marketing tools require an explicit import step, so the file you download is the canonical handoff.

Compliance notes

Whatever country your buyers are in, treat the list with care:

  • Make it clear at the point of sign-up that the visitor is opting in to marketing emails — a short label next to the form does the job.
  • If a subscriber asks to be removed, delete them from the list. Don't keep their record "just in case."
  • If you're sending marketing emails through an external tool, make sure that tool handles unsubscribe links — most do automatically.

FAQ

Does LaunchMyStore send the marketing emails for me?

The platform collects and stores your subscriber list. Sending campaigns, designing emails, running A/B tests, and tracking opens is the job of a dedicated email-marketing service. Export your list and upload it there.

Is there a limit on how many subscribers I can store?

No practical cap — the list can grow as large as your store needs.

Can I add subscribers I collected somewhere else?

Yes. Use the Add Newsletter button on the Newsletters page to enter an address manually. Useful for consolidating subscribers from offline events, paper sign-up sheets, or another platform you're migrating from.

How do I remove a subscriber?

Find their row on the Newsletters page and use the delete action. They're removed immediately from the list.

Where does the country on each subscriber come from?

It's captured at sign-up time, typically based on the visitor's location when they submitted the form. You'll see it on the list view and in the exported file.
